The Cow in Reisterstown

The Italian ice and custard are good, better than Rita's for certain. The lines can be long sometimes and slow to progress. Better organization would fix this sort of annoyance. The cow finally now takes credit/debit cards but they make a point to pass on the processing cost to their customers. That's ok I guess considering they aren't open year round. My biggest gripe is how grimy and gross the place is. It doesn't look any cleaner inside, either. Without fail there is always trash littering the place, and there is at least one spilled Italian ice/custard on the ground conveniently for you to walk through. Not to mention there is always trash bags piled up by the back door right next to the area people eat. They are too lazy to take the trash to the dumpster. At least put the bags in a can out back if you will put them into the dumpster later. People shouldn't have to eat near it. Other than cleanliness everything else is ok. The staff are always friendly enough.

THE best milkshakes. Ive gone to other establishments for a milkshake trying to get that flavor and it just doesn't compare

If you like Italian Ice and Custard, this makes Rita’s seem like a complete sham. There are a lot more flavors than Rita’s too. There is a lot of outdoor seating for days it’s really nice. There is a life sized plastic cow by the road, so also a great spot to gram your experience.

Love this place!!! Come here all the time. The ices and cream ices are my favorite. They have a very extensive menu for flavors and they all taste amazing. Prices are unbeatable and servings sizes are big. I got a kiddie size which is plenty because the small is definitely a true medium size. Highly recommend !!!

I love going to the cow with my family and enjoying their many flavors in Italian ice, their flavors of custard and much more. Not only can you get good frozen treats, but an amazing scenic ride through historic reisterstown on your way there. It's a tasty treat especially now when you get bored of store bought ice cream.

This place is quite popular with the locals.There will probably be a line, but it moves quickly. Desserts are yummy. I always try to stop through when in town.

Very unique and tasty ice cream and custard stand. Only negative is trying to narrow down a flavor from the huge selection (helped in some sense by being able to have multiple flavors in one serving). Was in the area for two days and visited there each day.

Yummy custard, lots of flavor and topping options, very clean and considerate employees wearing masks and gloves, a 6ft distance between customers sign was large and obvious. However, the majority of the patrons were doing nothing to protect themselves and others from spreading C19; no masks or gloves. Pretty infuriating, but these nasty grossouts couldn't ruin my icecream! 🙌💜

OMG! This little gem was within walking distance of where we were staying. It was soooo hard to practice self control once I got a taste of their Tongue Twister (what can I say, I LOVE PEANUT BUTTER!). Go, enjoy. I highly recommend this place for soft serve ice cream.

This place is my “go to”. Whether I’m in the mood for a snack, treat or just had a long day at work, The Cow is where I go!! I love their milkshakes. Also make sure to try their ginormous banana split! They have locations in Westminster or Reisterstown so go see them if you are near!

I had a banana split it was about 6 dollars. It was a good size and was delicious.

So many different options to choose from. Personally I love the pumpkin pie Italian ice. This place can sometimes has a long line but its definitely worth it.

Service was great. Unfortunately, not a fan of the custard. It was more like ice cream consistency rather than smooth and creamy custard I’m used to.

It's the same basic set up as a snowball stand or ritas. The difference is the flavor options are unbelievable. Every time I'm there I have difficult choices to make between pumpkin pie, peanut butter and egg custard. Luckily they are all great.

Great service, great ice cream !! I had the double vanilla, chocolate cone and it was the best I've had in a long time. The line moves very fast, I liked that.

The Cow is a quintessential fixture of Reisterstown's Main Street. The ice cream and Italian ice can't be beat. The busiest I have ever seen the Cow, the nearby Rita's had one of those free ice cream giveaways. So many people saw that advertisement and decided they would rather pay full price for the Cow than settle for free Rita's!

I just shared a ginormous banana split with a good friend! It could easily feed 3 or even 4 people. And it was only $6!!! The custard melts in your mouth, super rich and smooth. Mounds and mounds of real whipped cream top the banana buried under hot fudge. Yummmmm, the COW!!!!

We drive from Palm Beach, Florida just to eat the Cow Ice cream . Ok we come here to visit family but this place is one of our high lights, this is our 2nd summer coming here. We love the ice cream and the service. Just an fyi there is no public bathroom.

Didn't go to the soft ice cream stand in Reisterstown. Instead, I attended a party, an Ice-Cream Anti-Social, to celebrate a birthday where their truck came to the party. I also hosted an Ice-cream Anti-Social for my wife where the truck came to my house.The ice-cream was delicious. There were plenty of choices, and the price was reasonable. I recommend this place.

I ordered my personal favorite, a large vanilla soft-serve on a waffle cone with rainbow sprinkles. BEWARE: The large is DEFINITELY LARGE, you will not be able to eat that thing while driving for sure☝️.Pros:-Nice location-Friendly staff-BOMB icecream (very good 👌)-Great bang for your buck; great portion sizes with very reasonable pricingCons:-Waited in line for almost 15mins, but I think something may have went wrong as the employee who took my order had ice cream all over her arm. It was my first time visiting so I will definitely be giving them another shot 👍

I never knew the cow was a thing I just ate their ice cream and it’s so good! Best ice cream I ever had. They also have other things to eat there. I even ate their cone in less than one minute! (I hate ice cream cones) if you want to eat a nice cold ice cream treat, the cow is for you. Moo!

If you like gelato - you'll probably like this spot, however, I'm not a big fan and everything you order is in a cup/bowl two sizes too small so it's all hard to eat.
